Effect of different fabrication materials and techniques on the retention of implant meso-structures to Ti-base abutments

Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the effect of material and manufacturing technique on retention meso-structure Ti-base after artificial thermo-cycling aging. Materials Methods: Forty implant analogues were placed in resin moulds which Ti-bases screwed. scanned, abutments designed using CAD/CAM software. Samples divided into 5 equal groups according construction as follows: Group I (Zr CAD): zirconia, II (E.max Press): Pressable lithium disilicate with 3D printed pattern, III disilicate, IV (PEEK PEEK, V PEEK was directly pressed Ti-bases. each group surface treated cemented respective manufacturers’ instructions. All samples subjected 10,000 thermal cycles between 5°C-55°C. pull-out test. The surfaces internal photographed under high magnification analyze mode failure.
